Our Brand Story

The Founder of WD TCM Lifestyle Brand began with a dream. In the 1990s, our group of 15 Chinese Elite Professors noticed that there was a saturation of chemical products in the beauty industry.

Under the leadership of an extraordinary Master who has experience and a vast knowledge in Chinese medicine, is a Chinese nutrition expert, Dietotherapy Therapist, as well as a Metaphysicist, we wanted to prove that the TCM formula does not only heal health conditions and sickness – it can also be formulated, produced and used as a form of humane beauty products. Our group of elite professors eventually developed a range of skin care and body care products, health supplements and herbal drinks that does exactly what we aimed for.

WD TCM Lifestyle Brand was founded in Hong Kong in 2008. 

In 2019, Kingdom of Esther Pte Ltd (KOE) was set up in Singapore to take over all operations from Hong Kong catering to the changing demands in the market. KOE handles B2B and B2C businesses in the APAC and global region, as well as product innovation, design and development, business planning and provides marketing support for our strategic partners and distributors.

Our Mission – PURE resonates with our products which do not contain any chemical ingredients.

The strong belief in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) runs deep in my family. My father operated a Chinese medical hall for more than 35 years. I grew up with traditional Chinese medicine as a young child and even tasted the different herbs laid out on the shelves. My father’s passion in TCM opened my eyes to the miraculous healing powers of Chinese herbs.

Years later, I had the opportunity to reconnect with my roots. I was introduced to a group of dedicated, innovative and passionate elite professors whose dream was to combat  chemical products in the beauty industry. Having devoted their lives to imparting their knowledge and experience through seminars, books and innovation, they have invented and created over 100 herbal beauty and healthcare products.

Through our shared passion and common goal, we formed a partnership to create a unique range of personal beauty care products – TCM-formulated Natural products. These products are created from Chinese herbs, plant extracts and vitamins and concocted using the wisdom of ancient Chinese healing philosophy while carefully blending them for the perfect balance. Together with our Herbal Patented Formulation, Wujinshan, our professors have modernised the TCM formulations to create a complete range of Personal Beauty Care products. These products enhance beauty from head to toe and helps to maintain and prevent ageing. Most importantly, our products do the healing from the inside out, thus delivering gradual and permanent results that truly last.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is pure, safe and free from chemicals. Its healing properties yield visible positive results within 2 weeks. Pure relates to White. The magnificent results resemble the inner strength of a Dragon which is strong, stable and powerful; thus White Dragon (WD) is formed/born to resonate the energies of these wonderful  TCM Natural products.

Our History

Our products are not just another skin care product that are made of natural ingredients – our products contain our patented Herbal Formulation “Wujinshan”, a formula made possible by combining Ancient Chinese Healing Philosophy with our cutting edge technology. This formula heals, replenishes, rejuvenates, promotes blood circulation and regenerates our skin tissues. By applying our products on the skin, the formula is absorbed, transferred and replicated throughout the cells in our bodies, allowing our products to work from inside out.

Through a rare opportunity and a matter of coincidence, the Founder was introduced to this group of professors. Our aim to “build a strong wellness culture that benefits the body, mind and soul through the use of TCM properties in all communities throughout the world” aligned with the professors’ mindset. Winnie, our CEO, stemming from a strong family history of holistic approaches to wellness, believes that this holistic form of products could be developed even further.

WD TCM Lifestyle Brand believes that through the usage of the right products, we can increase our quality of life and longevity through revitalisation, replenishment and renewal. 

Additionally, the concept of “body, mind and soul” is that these three elements are interwoven into a single entity. We believe that our products, including future developments, will be able to enhance this concept. To this day, we are still developing our products and partnering with professionals in spas and salons to design bespoke programmes for everyone to benefit from the holistic approach of WD TCM Beauty Care.

Ever since the establishment of WD in 2008, we have been focusing on the art of healing. Using only Chinese herbs, plant extractions and our patented formulation, we take pride in eliminating all uses of artificial preservatives, fragrances and colouring. This allows us to create a series of natural and safe products that yield positive, permanent results, when supported by our guided steps of personal care.

With years of experience in TCM, our R&D division has modernised traditional formulations with advanced technology to maintain the consistency and enhance the quality of the Chinese herbs during the manufacturing process.

WD TCM Lifestyle Brand was founded in Hong Kong in 2008 as an Independent Foreign Company promoting the TCM Natural Cosmetics.  From small beginnings in the US through eCommerce, WD has grown to a sizeable scale.

We have won Best Newcomer & Best Shampoo and Bloggers Choice for our Face Wash Awards under Natural/Organics category by Beauty Insider Sg for 2 consecutive years. We were also awarded the Natural Cosmetics of the Year 2021/2022 & 2022/2023 for 2 years in a row by the Singapore Prestige Award.

Our future plans include further exploring the concept of the body, mind and soul as a single entity while developing new products to complement and enhance the current lines. Resources will also be channelled to develop health & wellness spas and salons that customise programmes focused on enhancing, revitalising, rejuvenating and regenerating cells from the inside out for our clientele to look beautiful naturally.
